Handmade Stoneware Serving Bowl

On the inside of the bowl is a hand-painted warm, friendly, animated cartoon-style face of a smiling boy in vibrant colors. Most of the bowl—both inside and out—features a sponge pattern in bright cobalt blue against a white background. Here and there, you can also see small black brushstroke accents layered over the blue speckles.
A green-and-yellow cap tops the boy’s head. The face itself is centered on the interior of the bowl, framed by the surrounding splashes of blue. Overall, the design has a lively, whimsical feel painted by hand in a playful, illustrative style.
